Projector Blackouts (projectorblackouts.com)

Do you need complete darkness for your production or service? Is that auto “black” screen just not what it needs to be?

We build the perfect solution for you... A Projector Blackout. These work like a Shutter or an Iris, only better suited for the simple job at hand. More like a flapper or a light shield, this Projector Blackout puts a physical barrier between the projector lens and the screen.

These are remotely controlled from your sound/lighting booth via hard wire. They mount directly to your projector with Velcro straps for safe and easy installation. Use almost any wiring you have around with at least 3 insulated 22 awg conductors. You will get everything you need except wiring (which we can throw in for an added cost).

You can find these elsewhere online for $260-$800. We can have yours shipped within 2 weeks, for only $125. If you are a Church organization we offer a discount.

E-mail your questions or orders today! russ@projectorblackouts.com

We are located in Oregon, USA. We typically ship via USPS, but special arrangements can be made!

Automated Gift/Reminder Site

Several of these already exist:

These sites will send reminders to your email, phone or just about anywhere to remind you to get your wife a card or send flowers. I would like to take it to the next level...

A simple personality survey would be completed when you sign up. Then for each person that you add, an additional survey about your relationship would be completed.

The surveys would include the type of relationship, typical interaction (funny, romantic, sarcastic, etc.) The survey would be based on the type of service requested. Many options would be available from sending a card for XXX holidays to buy gift valued at $600. Each service level would have a different cost associated with it as well as different options. Everything would be customizable. Which holidays, special days, etc.

Based on survey responses and requested service levels gifts would be ordered or suggested and sent to appropriate location.

This idea is completely scalable and configurable...creating the surveys would definitely take some time on the front end.

What do you think? Is it something that could be developed and sold to the existing companies?
